LEIGHTON - Kelsi Angeline Van Valkenburg, daughter of Kelly and Teresa Van Valkenburg of Leighton, was stillborn July 15, 2006 at Knoxville Hospital. Kelsi is survived by her parents: Kelly and Teresa (Hedlund) Van Valkenburg of Leighton, IA; her paternal grandparents: Gary Van Valkenburg of Wisconsin, Candice Van Valkenburg of Texas; her maternal grandparents: Gary Hedlund of Newton, IA, Yvonne Rickabaugh of Des Moines, IA; her paternal great-grandmother: Beverly Hobbs of Texas; her maternal great-grandparents: Wanda Blessing of Maxwell, IA; Max and Betty Hedlund of Newton, IA; 2 Aunts: Vanessa Van Valkenburg, Staci Kittell; 6 uncles: Wayne Hedlund, Chad Hedlund, Adam Marks, Kyle Van Valkenburg, Cole Van Valkenburg, Brent Van Valkenburg; and many cousins. Graveside services will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday at the Maxwell Cemetery. A time of gathering will take place at 10:00 AM at the Bacon Funeral Home in Maxwell and procession to the cemetery will begin at 10:15 AM. The Bacon Funeral Home in Maxwell is in charge of arrangements.
