Per Kenny's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service has been scheduled at Collins Evergreen Cemetery. Kenny graduated with the Class of 1966 from Collins Community School. Throughout his life, Kenny worked as an electrician at Fisher Control Valves in Marshalltown before retiring after 37 years of service. After his retirement, he enjoyed working at Sportsman's Warehouse in Ankeny as manager of the fishing department. He had a deep love for fishing, boating and hunting. He was also known for his ability to fix anything and everything. Kenny adored his family, especially his grandchildren, whom lovingly referred to him as P-Pa. Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and mother-in-law Marie Wall. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 55 years Vicki (Robinett); daughters Kelly (Michael) Peavey of Maxwell, IA, Heidi (Kirk) Fitzgibbon of Altoona, IA and Robin (Daniel) Mathis of Nevada, IA; six granddaughters; Lauren Kappel, Whitney (Thaine) Jass, Bailey Fitzgibbon, Maggie Fitzgibbon, Madeline Mathis and Maya Mathis; four great-grandchildren; Brynn, Brezlyn, Emerlyn and Rouglyn; brothers Dennis (Carol) Krausman of Lone Tree, CO, Terry (Agnes) Krausman of Ames, IA, and Mark (Jannie) Krausman of Nevada, IA; sister Doreen (Roger) Callendar of Bloomington, IL and his beloved spoiled dog Spike.
