Kevin Douglas Weddle, 63, of Nevada, Iowa, passed away December 12, 2020 at this home. Kevin was born August 14, 1957 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, the son of Bill and Mary (Cofer) Weddle. He served in the Army, being stationed in Germany. He was united in marriage to Kimberly "Kim" Hornung on June 23, 1990. Kevin retired in 2019 from the National Disease Lab in Ames, after having worked there for 23 years. Kevin enjoyed a good story and joke, fishing, camping, baking cookies, and old television westerns. He had donated his hair to "Locks of Love" several times over the years. Kevin is survived by his wife: Kim; a son: Shane Phillip Weddle of San Antonio, Texas; and four sisters: Susan Higgins of Grand Junction, Carol Tunink of Jefferson, Joni McAllister of Ames, and Marsha Thompson of Grand Junction. Keven was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers: Ross Weddle and Jesse Weddle. There are no public services planned.
