Kim R. Krebs, 68 of Nevada, died Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Kim was born November 1, 1953, in Eldora, the son of Emery and Barbara (Evans) Krebs. He graduated from Ankeny High School in 1972 and was united in marriage to Teresa Monahan on August 22, 1971 in Nevada, Iowa. Kim worked for Hydro Clean for many years.

Kim enjoyed all things outdoors, camping with family, hunting and fishing. He was a member of the N.R.A. Most of all, he loved time spent with family and friends. Kim is survived by his wife, Teresa; his daughters, Lori (Jeremy) White of Des Moines and Chasity Krebs of Roland; his brothers Kyle Krebs of Ames and Kory Krebs of Maxwell; his 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal parents and his son, Joe Krebs.

Visitation will be held 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Thursday, September 23, 2022 at Memorial Lutheran Church (701 11th St) in Nevada. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, September 23, 2022 at Memorial Lutheran Church in Nevada, with Pastor Kathleen Lotz officiating.
