AMES, IOWA - Lelah "Erma" Beglinger Crawford, 75, of Ames, Iowa, formerly of Oakland, California, died January 4, 2005 at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. Erma was born April 29, 1929 in Oakland, California, the daughter of Ira and Leah (Brown) Scott. She graduated from El Cerrito High School in 1946. She had worked for Stagecoach Productions as a bookkeeper for many years. Erma was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by 4 sons: James Scott Beglinger, Jay Thomas Beglinger, Jack Earle Beglinger, Jeffrey Lee Beglinger; a daughter: Elsbeth "Beth" Beglinger; and many grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Crawford in 1998; and a son, Jeremy A. Beglinger. Erma has been cremated and no services are planned.
