Larry Harold Hedlund, 82 of Boone, passed away Friday, April 24, 2020, at MercyOne in Des Moines. Larry was born January 14, 1938, in Boone, the son of Leonard Hedlund and Lois Wood. He worked many years as a truck driver, most recently driving for himself. Larry is survived by his wife, Carol of Boone; his sons, Jeff (Jeanette) Hedlund of Nevada and Gary Hedlund of Des Moines; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, David Hedlund and a grandson, David James Hedlund. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in memory of Larry.
