CAMBRIDGE - Leo Forest Elliott, 90, of Cambridge, died Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at Story County Long Term Care in Nevada. Leo was born February 15, 1915 near Cambridge, Iowa the son of Ira Ivin and Lottie (Scott) Elliott. Leo was a life-long farmer and a member of the Cambridge Methodist Church. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law: Jim and Margaret Elliott of Ames; and many nieces and nephews. Leo was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers: Ivin and Frank; and 4 sisters: Sylvia Bump, Edna Rainey, Elva Schuler and Goldie Becker. Funeral services will be 10:30 Saturday, August 6th at the Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada. Burial will be in the White Oak Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 7:00 - 8:30 pm Friday at the Bacon Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Cambridge United Methodist Church.
