Lexi Ann Stiles, age 6, of Maxwell went to be with the Lord on April 24th, 2017; after years of fighting health issues, she is in peace. Lexi was born a fighter to Robert and Angel Stiles on December 14, 2010, 15 weeks early only weighing 1lb 12oz with a survival rate of 50-70% at Blank Children's Hospital in Des Moines. She came home March 20th,2010, after 97 days in the NICU at 6lbs. She attended preschool at Grandma's daycare where she loved the kids and was known as "woo woo". At the age of 4 she became a "big sissy" to Harper Lynn which she loved and was so good at, and again at the age of 6 to brother Weston Lee. She enjoyed being outside in the sunshine, around kids, hanging out in grandpa's shop and on his lap, loved to rock, loved life, being Daddy's "turkey" and loved being " sissy". Lexi had an infectious smile. Her strength, courage, resilience and love for others was beyond compare. She was beautiful inside and out, loved everyone, and touched everyone's heart. Just a pure soul, beautiful inside and out! She was the sweetest girl you'd ever meet and will always be her "momma's baby". Lexi is survived by: dad and mom; little sister, Harper; little brother, Weston Lee; god sister, Ellie Ann; grandparents: Terry and Robin Stiles, Jerry and Sherry Wesbrook; uncles: Zach Stiles, Ryan Wesbrook (Kayla), Cody Wesbrook, and Brad Stiles (Sheila); cousins: Regan and Greyden Stiles, Lucy Wesbrook, and Jay Unger. Lexi was preceded in death by: great grandparents: Carl J. Haffner, George Allen, Lucinda Jane Wesbrook, and Trudy Stiles. A Celebration of Lexi's Life will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2017, at the Maxwell Community Center in Maxwell. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lexi Stiles Memorial Fund, Legacy Bank, 1201 Grant Street S., Bondurant, IA 50035.
