Linda Sue (Matheason) Dobson, 66 of Colo, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines.

Linda was born on November 3, 1956, in Story City, Iowa to Arthur and Dorothy (Burnett) Matheason. She attended elementary and graduated from Roland-Story High School.

Linda married Douglas Dean Dobson on October 30, 1976, and to this union two children were born, Nicole Dobson and Cody Dobson. They live in Nevada and Colo.

Linda's hobbies included watching Iowa State and the Chicago Cubs. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandkids.

Linda is survived by her husband, Doug Dobson; her daughter, Nicole Dobson; her son, Cody (Heather) Dobson; her adopted kids, Zach and Mindee Sly; her grandchildren, Sadie, Kadyn and Jocelynn Dobson and Hunter and Peyton Carlson; her three sisters; her mother-in-law, Janice Dobson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Dorothy Matheason; her sister, Jeanie; and her father-in-law, Max Dobson.

A celebration of Linda's life will be 2-4 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2023, at Rasmusson-Ryan Funeral Home (1418 Fawcett Pkwy) in Nevada.
