Linda Ann Silva, 64, of Nevada, passed away Monday, September 30, 2013, at Story County Senior Care in Nevada. Linda was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 22, 1949, to Jack and Albina (Pasnik) Ashcroft. She enjoyed music and nature (especially the mountains). Linda was a hippie at heart. Linda is survived by her daughter, Vanessa Lopez (Dwain Kowalske); her mother, Albina Ashcroft; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and her brother, Michael Ashcroft. She was preceded in death by her father and her husband in 2002. Per Linda's wishes, she has been cremated and no services will be held. Her cremated remains will be scattered in the Rocky Mountains, a place she loved. Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada is assisting with arrangements.
