Marilyn Kay Allshouse, 72 of Nevada, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.

Marilyn was born January 12, 1952, the daughter of Carroll and Mildred (Slippy) Deaton. She married Stephen Ora Allshouse on July 14, 2006, in Eldora. Marilyn enjoyed latch hook embroidery and camping.

Marilyn is survived by her husband, Stephen of Nevada; her son Cody (Kendra) Lindsey of Nevada and Tammy Harrington of Nevada; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her brothers: Jerry Deaton, Mike Deaton, Larry (Bonita) Deaton and Lynn (Rhonda)Deaton; and her sister Joyce (Wayne) Johannes. She was preceded in death by her parents.
