MAXWELL - Marjorie "Sue" Raymond, 51, of Maxwell, died Sunday, December 2, 2007 at the Riverside Manor in Ames. Sue was born November 14, 1956 in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of George H. and Susie L. (Northway) Jarnagin. Sue was a certified Nurses Assistant and had worked at the Rolling Green Manor in Nevada and the Riverside Manor in Ames for many years. Sue enjoyed Wicca and reading. She loved being with her family and friends. Sue is survived by her husband, William Raymond, Jr., of Des Moines; 3 sons: William Raymond, III, of Maxwell, Casey (Athena) Lodestein of Maxwell, Anthony Raymond of Des Moines; 2 daughters: Melissa Aldrich, and her fiance, David McCoy of Nevada, Amanda (Leo) Wheeler of Ames; 18 grandchildren; her mother: Susie Goerner of Ames; 4 brothers: Ray Jarnagin, Wes Jarnagin, Bill Robb, George Jarnagin; a sister: Annabell Mayo; and a special family friend: Bill Lee of Maxwell. Sue was preceded in death by her father; a brother, John; and a sister, Hulda. Visitation will be 9:00 - 11:00 AM Friday at the Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada Funeral services will follow visitation at 11:00 AM Friday at the Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada. Interment will be in the Orillia Cemetery at Orillia, Iowa. Memorials may be made to the Marjorie Sue Raymond Memorial Fund. The Bacon Funeral Home and Crematory in Nevada is in charge of arrangements.
