MAXWELL-Martha E. Holsinger, 62, of Maxwell, died Sunday, July 23, 2006 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Marty was born December 27, 1943 near Milo, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph W. and Martha (Reland) Wilkinson. Marty attended and graduated from Martensdale High School. She was united in marriage to Richard "Ronald" Holsinger January 16, 1965 in Omaha, Nebraska. Marty worked for the Target Stores. She had been affiliated with the Maxwell United Methodist Church and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: Chris and Erica Holsinger of Maxwell, IA; 3 daughters and a son-in-law: Wendy Holsinger of Maxwell, IA, Jill Bottcher of Rochester, MN, Vicky and Dave Cummings of Rochester, MN; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; a brother: Larry Wilkinson of Truro, IA; and 5 sisters: Elsie Goldizen of Martensdale, IA; Edna Rawson of Carlisle, IA; Thelma Rhoades of Benton, Arkansas, Viola Martin of Martensdale, IA and Nancy Brown of Oskaloosa, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a granddaughter, Laura Holsinger; and a brother: Dale Wilkinson. Memorial services will be 1:30 PM Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at the Bacon Funeral Home in Maxwell with Pastor Larry French officiating. Private inurnment with the family will be in the Maxwell Cemetery. The Bacon Funeral Home in Maxwell is handling arrangements.
