Martin "Marty" Lee Smith, 58 of Colo, died Friday, March 18, 2022, at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. A complete obituary is pending. A graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2022, at the Colo Cemetery in Colo with Pastor David Burling officiating. A celebration of life will follow at the Colo Community Center (309 Main Street) in Colo until 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Story County Animal Shelter, Bliss Cancer Center in Ames or Iowa Methodist Cardiology.
