Pamela "Pam" Jean Carnine, 68 of Nevada, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2020, at MercyOne in Des Moines. Pam was born October 5, 1951, in Sac City, Iowa the daughter of Robert and Beverly "Bev" (Richards) Carnine. She graduated from Odebolt-Arthur High School in 1969 and earned her bachelor's degree from Iowa State in 1973. Pam married Jay Alan Butler and worked for YSS. She was very active with the A.I.D.S. Coalition and enjoyed drawing and camping. Pam is survived by her husband, Jay of Nevada; her dad, Robert Carnine of Odebolt; her daughter, Anna Baun of Des Moines; her brother, Ron (Vickie) Carnine of Coffeyville, KS; and her sister, Julie (Bob) of Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her mom. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in memory of Pam. Pam has been cremated and no service is planned at this time.
