ROLAND - Patricia Louise Cannon, 74, of Roland, Iowa, died at her home, Monday, June 9, 2008. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, June 12th, at the Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada, IA. Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday at the Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada. Cremation will follow services. Patricia was born January 7, 1934 at Oglesby, Illinois, the daughter of Anton and Clara (Harcyzinski) Bunzell. She was united to marriage to Edward W. Cannon on October 26, 1957 in Oglesby, IL. They moved to Roland, IA in 1971. She was a mother, homemaker who loved her family and kids. Patricia was a member of the Grace Bible Church of Gilbert. Patricia is survived by her husband of 50 years, Edward W. Cannon of Roland; 2 sons and daughters-in-law: Tim and Cindy Cannon of Spring Grove, Illinois, Anthony and Maria Cannon of Newnan, Georgia; a daughter and son-in-law: Chris and Joe Christian of Des Moines, Iowa; 7 grandchildren: Samantha Wilson, Jenniffer Jones, Nathan McClellan, Heather McClellan, Courtney Coles, Jeff Christian, Justin Christian; 5 great-grandchildren: Taylor Coles, Lauren Coles, Alivia Wilson, Jacob Christian, Chloe Christian; a brother: Joseph Bunzell of La Salle, Illinois; and 2 sisters: Sally Tostovarsnik of Oglesby, Illinois and Mary Helen Wallin of Grandville, Illinois. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents: 1 brother: Frank Bunzell; and a sister: Betty Doty. Memorials may be made to Grace Bible Church of Gilbert.
