AMES - Patricia "Pat" Knode, 52, died Friday, August 1, 2008, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, Iowa. Pat was born January 17, 1956 at Tama, Iowa. She was adopted by Bob and Betty Mathews at an early age. Her parents Robert and Betty (See) Mathews preceded her in death. Pat graduated from Nevada High School in 1974 and attended college. She married Don Knode who preceded her in death on September 13, 1996. She was a homemaker who loved her grandkids. She enjoyed hand held video games, crafts and watching wrestling and scary movies. Survivors include her daughter Angela of Ames, Iowa; three grandchildren: Siena, Evan and T.J.; a brother and two sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one brother. A Graveside Service will be held at Woodland Cemetery, Iowa Center on Wednesday, August 6th at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be at Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada from noon to 1:30 PM prior to the graveside service. Bacon Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
