Patricia "Pat" Trulin, 74, of Nevada, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018, at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. Pat was born March 31, 1944, in Boone the daughter of Lenard and Maxine (Anderson) Wilhelm. She graduated from Boone High School in 1962 and was united in marriage to Larry Trulin on January 21, 1962, in Boone. Pat worked for the Nevada Elementary as secretary, retiring after 34 years. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Nevada and the Nevada Golden K. Pat enjoyed traveling and supporting the Iowa State Cyclones. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchild. Pat is survived by her husband, Larry of Nevada; her children: Scott (Barb) Trulin of Blair, NE, Deb (Armond) Harris of Columbia, TN and Mike Trulin of Bethel, AK; her grandchildren: Stacie, Jason, Michelle, Bert and Nick; her great-grandson, Colton; her sisters: Margaret (Phil) Sherbon, Barb (Tom) Broderick, Jody (Mike) Fagerland, Bonnie (Don) Beal and Kathy (Louis) Wolfgram along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Karen Struck. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, July 19 at Rasmusson-Bacon Funeral Home (1418 Fawcett Pkwy) in Nevada. A Rosary service will be at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 20 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church (1110 11th Street) with Fr. Rick Dagit officiating. Burial will be 1:30 p.m. at Linwood Park Cemetery in Boone.
