**************************************************************************************************

On the morning of April 7th, 2026, surrounded by family, Paula Kay (Burkhart) Page passed peacefully from this world at the age of 83. A beloved wife, mother and friend returned to the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after a life lived with gentleness, grace, and quiet strength.

Paula was the second of three children born to Herbert and Agnes Burkhart in Morgantown, West Virginia and raised in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. She endured many challenges in life being born prematurely, surviving multiple brain aneurysms and eventually developing Parkinson's Disease, but she was not defined by these challenges.

She never complained or stood in judgement of others. Those who knew her understood that her unshakeable spirit was rooted in a deep and genuine faith in God, a faith she carried not loudly, but consistently, in the way she treated others and the way she met each new day.

Paula's gift for making people feel welcome was used freely as her smile warmed hearts. She loved having visitors and even hosted a bed and breakfast. She cherished time spent with her children and grandchild and found joy in her kitchen — particularly in the art of a well-made peach pie. To sit at Paula's table was to feel, without question, that you were exactly where you were supposed to be.

Her greatest joy was being not only a wife, but a caring mother of two children and grandmother to one grandson. She was present, devoted, and deeply proud of the family she helped shape. Phil, her husband of 62 years, found in her a partner of rare and enduring character, and the love of his life. Beyond this, Paula treasured the many friends she found in her church family and local community.

In her final months, Phil's dedicated care sustained her. Her final wish was fulfilled with her family by her side as she took her last breath. Paula is survived by her husband, Phil Page, her son, Aaron Page, her daughter, Kimberly Hosford, son-in-law Bryan Hosford, grandson, Aiden Hosford, and her two brothers, Albert and Herbie Burkhart.

She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

A celebration of Paula's life will be at 4 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Rasmusson-Ryan Funeral Home, 1418 Fawcett Pkwy in Nevada. The celebration will be livestreamed.
