Philip Erickson 85 of Ankeny, formerly of Nevada, died Wednesday, July 22, 2020. Philip was born June 10, 1935 in rural Huxley the son of Eric Erickson and Angeline (Sharp) Erickson. He attended Huxley High School and was united in marriage to Sandra Allard on June 5, 1957. Philip farmed for years and enjoyed collecting antique toy trains, Hot Wheels and miniature John Deere tractors. He was a very devoted husband, dad and grandfather. Philip is survived by his wife, Sandra of Ankeny; his children: Vicky Thrasher, Owen Erickson, Penney Patterson and Michael Wyse; his sisters: Shirley (George) Litchfield, Karen (Bob) Fry, Sandra (Jim) McCalley and Judy Erickson; his brothers: Chuck Erickson and Eddie (Sandy) Erickson; his six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
