Quentin David Lesan, 35 of Nevada, passed away Monday, January 27, 2025, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.

Quentin was born April 8, 1989, in Ames, IA, the son of David Brian and Ann Lanae (McFarland) Lesan. He graduated from Nevada High School in 2007. Quentin attended Iowa State University and earned his associates degree from DMACC. He had worked in the kitchen for Hickory Park and Applebee's and bartended at Cabin 61 in White Bear Lake, MN.

On September 28, 2019, Quentin was united in marriage to Britney Kay Rindels in Ames. They have a daughter Freya, and she meant everything to him. She and Britney were all he talked about.

Quentin enjoyed watching hockey, especially the Detroit Red Wings. He also liked Magic the Gathering, gaming and spending time outdoors hunting and fishing, especially at his family cabins in northern Minnesota. Gunderson Lake was where he felt most at home.

Quentin is survived by his wife Britney; his daughter Freya; his mom Ann Lesan; his brother Morgan Lesan; his paternal grandmother Wilma Lesan; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Darius Rindels and Becky Rindels; his brother-in-law Austin Rindels; his uncle Aaron McFarland; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his dad David Lesan; his paternal grandpa Don Lesan; and his maternal grandparents Robert and Mary Ann McFarland.

A visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Rasmusson-Ryan Funeral Home (1418 Fawcett Pkwy) in Nevada. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m., also at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family and will be used for Freya.
