Randy Dale Smith, 62, of Collins passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at the Veteran's Home in Marshalltown. Randy was born December 20, 1953, in Nevada to Milford Russell and Mary Lue (Boozell) Smith. He graduated from Collins High School and served in the Army during Vietnam until his honorable discharge in 1980. Graveside services with military honors will be held in the spring at the Collins Evergreen Cemetery in Collins. Rasmusson-Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada is handling arrangements.
