Ray Dean Larson, 79 of Nevada, died Friday, January 7, 2022, at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. Ray was born April 2, 1942, in Williams, Iowa the son of Lawrence Edwin and Bernice Lorraine (Russell) Larson. He graduated from Eagle Grove High School in 1962 and attended Eagle Grove College. Ray was united in marriage to Amelia Mae Richardson on August 13, 1966, in Nevada, Missouri. He worked 19 years for the City of Ames doing electric work. Ray is survived by his son, James Larson of Nevada. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his brothers, Larry and Eugene; and his sister, Carmen McKinney.
