Rebecca "Becky" June Jordan, 73, of Collins, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 1, 2024, at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. Becky was born on December 19, 1950, in Waterloo, IA, to Marvin Edward and Ruby June (Aschbrenner) Huebner.

A proud alumna of Wapsie Valley High School, class of 1969, Becky went on to earn a bachelor's degree in Home Economics Education from Iowa State University in 1973. On August 20, 1972, she married Kenneth Linn Jordan at the Klinger Church in Readlyn, IA, marking the beginning of a beautiful journey together.

Becky dedicated three years to teaching before choosing to stay at home to raise her three beloved children. Once her children were all in school, she began working at Patterson Supply in Collins and later found her calling at Rolling Green Village in Nevada, serving as the Assistant Activities Director until her retirement in 2018.

Becky's hobbies were as vibrant as her spirit. She found joy in sewing, diamond painting, and especially baking cinnamon rolls and other sweet treats. She cherished every moment spent outdoors, whether watching birds, gardening, enjoying coffee with friends, or going for a bike ride. Above all, Becky treasured her family, especially her grandchildren, and relished every opportunity to be with them. She would read aloud to them until her voice went hoarse, she'd play card games way past bedtime, and the memories she made with them will be treasured forever.

Becky is survived by her loving husband, Ken; her children, Jesse (Marla) Jordan, Scott (Michelle) Jordan, and Kim (Brent) Kramer; her adored grandchildren, Annika, Dane, Austin, Atlas, Phoebe, Daphne, and Teddy; and her brother, Dave (Cindy) Huebner. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Mark Huebner.

A celebration of Becky's life will be held on Sunday, July 7th from 2pm-5pm at the Collins Community Center 219 Main Street, Collins, IA 50055. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Collins Wellness Center or to the Collins Library in memory of Becky.
