Richard Gene Fuss, 45 of Nevada, died Saturday, April 8, 2023, at his home in Nevada.

Richard was born April 28, 1977, in Nevada, Iowa, the son of Danny and Sheryl (Ball) Fuss. He worked for D&J Tree Service and did contracting work on the side. Richard enjoyed being busy with work, woodworking and fishing. He also enjoyed arrowhead hunting, making bows and arrows and riding motorcycles.

Richard is survived by his children, Jaden Fuss of Nevada and Ava Fuss of Ames; his parents, Danny and Sheryl Fuss of Nevada; and his grandma, Rosemary Ball of Nevada. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph G. Ball and Richard and Ruth Fuss.

A celebration of Richard's life will be Noon-4 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at the Oriole Lodge at Hickory Grove near Colo.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Richard's family in his memory.
