Robert L. Colvert Jr. was born March 3, 1956, in Birmingham, Alabama to Robert Sr. and Irene Colvert. Sadly, Robert passed away on January 16, 2021, due to complications of COPD, pneumonia, and COVID-19. Robert was a simple, kind man who cherished his grandchildren above all else. Robert is survived by his wife of 32 years, Janet of Nevada; his son, Robert III of Birmingham, AL; his daughters: Michelle (Chad) McCarville of Des Moines and Emily (Gerald) Biery of West Des Moines; three sisters; one brother; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Eddie. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
