AMES - Ronald E. Gale, Jr, 45, of Ames, died Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. He was born August 24, 1964, the son of Ronald E. Gale, Sr. and Virginia L Gale. He was a mechanic and enjoyed building and flying remote control airplanes. He had lived in Marshalltown, Ames, Nevada, Maxwell, Union and Waterloo during his life. He is survived by his wife: Donna Gale; a son Grant (Maureen) Gale of Marshalltown; a grandson: Ethan Grant; his father: Ronald E. Gale, Sr. of Union, Iowa; his mother Virginia Miller of Maxwell, Iowa; a brother: Steve Brown of Nevada, IA; and two sisters: Angela (Mark) Marrs of Ottumwa, IA; Sherrie (Tony) Winkler of McCallsburg, IA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews: David (Bobbie) Marrs, Michael Marrs, Jennifer (Freddy) Castillo,. Michael Anderson and Nathan Dowdy. Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Monday, February 1, 2010 at the Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Bacon Funeral Home and Crematory is handling arrangements.
