Rosalie Mary "Rose" Vier (Wanninger), age 84, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2025, in Nevada, Iowa. Born on September 30, 1940, in Carroll, Iowa, Rose lived a life marked by faith, service, and devotion to her family and community.

A longtime resident of Nevada, Rose was a cherished member of Central Presbyterian Church for many decades. Her deep Christian faith guided every aspect of her life. She was a familiar and beloved presence at countless fellowship gatherings, prayer meetings, and choir rehearsals. Whether singing hymns or offering quiet support through prayer shawls she lovingly knitted by hand, Rose's commitment to her faith was unwavering.

Rose found great joy in serving others. Her hands were rarely still—always busy preparing meals and treats for loved ones or crafting quilts that brought warmth and comfort to many. Her acts of kindness extended beyond her family to the broader community, where she gave generously of her time and talents.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ted in 2015, with whom she shared many years of partnership and love.

Rose was deeply committed to her family and is lovingly remembered by her sons: Randy (Kari) of Huxley and Kevin (Shelley) of Nevada. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Austin, Riley, Tyler, Juliana, and Olivia, and her eight great-grandchildren—each one a source of pride and joy in her life.

A private family graveside service celebrating Rose's life was held at Nevada Municipal Cemetery Iowa on May 30, 2025. Her beloved husband Ted was also laid to rest with Rose.
