Sharon Counsell, 70 of Nevada, died Monday, October 25, 2021, at Story County Senior Care in Nevada. Sharon was born September 17, 1951, in Osage, Iowa the daughter of Ernest Carlin and Mary Doris (Murray) Counsell. She graduated from Osage High School in 1970 and attended NIACC. Sharon is survived by her son, Scott Richey; her daughter, Charmaine Gay; her siblings: Anne Steenhard, Michael (Penney) Counsell, Nancy (Jerald) Goebel and Susan (Kenny) Hyke. She was preceded in death by her parents. Sharon has been cremated and inurnment will be at the Osage Cemetery in Osage, Iowa. Rasmusson-Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada is handling arrangements.
