CAMBRIDGE - Sharon Ann Garcia, 67, of Cambridge, Iowa, died Friday, October 15, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Sharon was born January 27, 1943 in Ames, Iowa, the daughter of Pearl and Opal (Jones) Harrison. She was united in marriage to Eduardo "Eddie" Garcia on July 23, 1988 in Cambridge, Iowa. She and Eddie own and operate the Snacktime Restaurant in Nevada. Sharon loved to travel, play cards and Sunday Night Bingo at the Ames American Legion. Sharon loved her family. Sharon is survived by her husband, Eddie of Cambridge, Iowa; her son: Dirk (Jennifer) Stowe of Mechanic Falls, Maine; two daughters: Lucinda Stowe of Ames, Iowa, Penny Smith of Des Moines, Iowa; and four grandchildren: Ubong Stowe, Claire Smith, Andrew Smith and Nathaniel Stowe. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Kenneth, Palmer; two sisters: Mae and Nellie; and a grandson: Zachary Smith. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Wednesday at the Bacon Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Cambridge Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday at the Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada. Memorials may be made to the Sharon Ann Garcia Memorial Fund. The Bacon Funeral Home and Crematory is handling arrangements.
