Shawn P. Korell, 58, of Nevada, Iowa passed away at his home Friday, September 23, 2022.

Shawn was born July 30, 1964, in Nevada, Iowa the son of Pauline Nighsonger Korell. Shawn attended school in Nevada and worked at Donnelly Marketing until retiring. Shawn enjoyed working with Antique tractors and Ageless Iron. He was an avid Iowa State Sports fan, a NASCAR fan and loved to garden and go fishing. A lover of animals, especially German Shorthair Pointers and German Shepherds.

Shawn is survived by his mother: Pauline Korell of Nevada, Iowa; his sister: Judy McKinney of Huxley, Iowa; his good friend: Les Lawson; and his two dogs: Cindi Lu and Kia.

Visitation will be 6:30 – 7:30 PM Tuesday at the Rasmusson Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada.

Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday at the Nevada Municipal Cemetery.
