Sheryl Howard of Nevada passed away August 15, 2018 at her home. Sheryl Jean Baker Howard was born at Camp McCoy Hospital on August 6, 1951 to Donald and Shirley Fairman Baker. She graduated from Pella High School in 1969 and from AIB. She began her career at Iowa State and completed her career working for Story County Board of Supervisors for more than 20 years. In recent years she enjoyed many happy times with great grandsons Blane and Cal Beyers from Nevada. Survivors include Don and Shirley Baker of Pella, Randy (Susan) Baker of Marshalltown, nephews Ryan (Melody) Baker of Shoreview MN, Brandon (Whitney) Baker of Madison, Wisc. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joel, her brother, James, and four grandparents. No services are planned at this time.
