Taron William Harmon, 18 of Nevada, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2020. Taron was born December 5, 2001, in Ames, the son of Allen Richard Harmon and Angel Richelle Geer. He enjoyed playing video games and skateboarding. Taron loved to sing and often made music videos. He was looking forward to moving to Pennsylvania to attend school. Taron is survived by his dad, Allen Harmon of Ames; his mom, Angel Harmon of Bondurant; his brother, Cory (Kirsten) Harmon of Nevada; his sisters: Nicole Harmon of Des Moines and Samantha Harmon of Clear Lake; his paternal grandpa, Richard Harmon of Nevada; and his aunts and uncles: Jim Harmon of Nevada, Gerry Bailey of Nevada, Stephanie (Travis) Gonzales of Bondurant, Valerie (Sean) Stumpe of Bondurant and Cheryl Mays of San Diego, CA. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Don Geer and Kathy Clabaugh; his paternal grandma, Diane Green; and his uncles: Brian Harmon and Chad Bailey. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, a private graveside service will be held at the Maxwell Cemetery in Maxwell. In lieu of flowers, memorials donations may be made at www.rasmussonfh.com.
