Teresa Annette Bush, 63 of Nevada, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at her home in Nevada, following a battle with cancer.

Teresa was born February 3, 1960, in Boone, Iowa, the daughter of Roswald and Betty (Anderson) Elsberry. Upon completing high school, she earned her bachelor's degree in criminal justice. Teresa was working as the housekeeping supervisor at Accura Healthcare in Ames.

Teresa enjoyed camping and playing games, especially Yatzee. She loved the holidays and all the decorations. She was extremely outgoing, energetic, and loved working with the elderly.

Teresa is survived by her sons, Terence (Vanna) Beaston of Nevada and Ryan (Heidi) Beaston of Nevada; her mother, Betty Elsberry of Ames; her six grandchildren; her two great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Cindy (Todd) Janes of Maxwell, Kim Thayer of Colorado, Deb Jackson of Ames, Sherry Anderson of Carroll and Shelly Whitefield of Sachse, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father, Roswald Elsberry.

A celebration of Teresa's life will be held 4-6 p.m. Monday, December 18, 2023, at Rasmusson-Ryan Funeral Home (1418 Fawcett Pkwy) in Nevada.
