Teresa "Terry" Angelica Bowman, 73, of Nevada passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at her home surrounded by family.

Terry was born April 12, 1951, in Poughkeepsie, New York, the daughter of Edward and Angelica (Ward) Mozdzierz. She graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes High School in 1968. Terry furthered her education earning a Bachelor of Science degree in 1972 from Rosary Hill College in Buffalo, NY. She worked for 30 years as a hygienic chemist for the University of Iowa.

Terry was united in marriage to Thomas Bowman on December 29, 1993, in Pasco County, Florida. She was a very active member of Holy Cross Parish and enjoyed horses.

Terry is survived by her husband Tom of Nevada; her children Todd (Brooke) Bowman of Altoona, Nathan Liarakos of Santa Rosa, CA, Melissa (Carl IV) Linder of Camdenton, MO and Kristin (Jason) Jewell of Oceanside, CA; her grandchildren Kaelie Jewell, Carl Linder V, Tanner Bowman, Megan (Nic) Jones and Tegan Engbrecht; her siblings Monica (John) Mozdzierz Riggs of Belmar, NJ, Mary Grace Ramnana of Pittsburgh, PA, Julia Mozdzierz of Santa Rosa, CA and Margaret Findlay of Holiday, FL; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her in-laws Norman and Velma Bowman; and her brothers-in-law Munaish Ramnanan and Scott Findlay.

A visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, July 18, 2024, at St. Mary's Catholic Church (460 NW Washington Avenue) in Elkhart. A vigil service will be at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2024, also at the church with Father Ross Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery near Farrar.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mary Greeley Hospice.
