Timothy Allan Sheets, 62, of Nevada, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. Tim was born August 8, 1963, to Bernard Eugene and Mary Ann (Kasal) Sheets. He served in the United States Marine Corps. Tim enjoyed music, having coffee with friends and spending time with his dog Sandy. Tim is survived by his brother, Daniel Sheets of Marshalltown; and close friends, Jeff Green and Rhonda Riley of Nevada. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, William. Visitation will be 2:30-4:30 p.m. Sunday, June 5, at Rasmusson-Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada with a time to share memories of Tim at 4:30 p.m. Private burial will be at Rock Creek Cemetery near Kellogg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Story County Animal Shelter in memory of Tim. Rasmusson-Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada is handling arrangements.
