Toni Renee Lenning, 64 of Nevada, died Thursday, November 12, 2020, at UnityPoint Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines. Toni was born February 27, 1956, in Kirksville, MO the daughter of Everett Russell and Gloria Frances (Bramson) Vannorsdel. She graduated from Nevada High School in 1974 and was united in marriage to David DuWayne Lenning on April 12, 1975. Toni worked over 25 years for the Iowa State Courts, retiring in 2018. She was a member of the Nevada First United Methodist Church where she was active with Stephen Ministry. She especially loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Toni is survived by her sons, Nathan (Kelly) Lenning and their children, Belle and Amelia of North Liberty and Corey (Meesha) Lenning and their children, Paige and Carter of Nevada; her siblings: Gary (Martha) Vannorsdel of Lewisville, TX, Vicki Stutzman of Ames and Monte (Patricia) Vannorsdel of Granger; and her sister-in-law, Gale (Willie) Lingenfelter of Nevada. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her brother-in-law, Gary Stutzman; and her father and mother-in-law, Kermit and Joan Lenning.
