Vicki Jones 61, passed away Friday , January 26, 2024, at the Mary Greeley in Ames.

Vicki was born April 26, 1963, in Nevada , Iowa, the daughter of Richard and Helen Opperman. She graduated from Nevada High School in 1981. Vicki retired from the National Animal Disease Center in 2016. She worked there as a Program Assistant.

Vicki was a member of the Stonebrook Community Church in Ames. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking and crafting.

Vicki is survived by her brother Doug (Terri) Opperman of Northfield Minnesota, nephew Joshua (Lexi) Opperman, nieces Nicole (Fred) Weiss, Kristen Opperman, Katie Opperman and Melissa (Matt) Aymond. Great nieces and nephews, Aubrey, Avery, Leah and Kenny.

Vicki is preceded in death by both of her parents Richard and Helen Opperman in 2021, brothers Scott Opperman in 2002 and Bruce Opperman in 1959.
