Wade Furman, 46, of Nevada, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Wade was born October 3, 1967, in Nevada to David and Diana (Jacobs) Furman. He graduated from Colo High School in 1985 and worked as a handyman. Wade enjoyed fishing, playing pool, music and animals. Wade was a very caring person that had a big heart and always put others before himself; you always felt loved when you were around him. He had a good sense of humor and would always make everyone laugh. Wade will be missed very much by everyone that knew and loved him. Wade is survived by his father, David Furman of Council Bluffs; his mother, Diana Slutz of Nevada; his brother, Shawn Furman of Nevada; his sister, Jane (Tim) Harrison of Ohio; his maternal grandmother, Agnes Jacobs of Nevada; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, at Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada with Pastor Myron Herzberg officiating. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.
