William Louis Appelgate, 76 of Nevada, died December 22, 2022, at State Center Nursing and Rehab in State Center.

William was born September 12, 1946, in Ames, Iowa, the son of Doral and Ruth (Brecht) Appelgate. He married Rhonda Smith on February 21, 1992, in Nevada. William worked as a concrete laborer and enjoyed bowling.

William is survived by his wife, Rhonda of Nevada; his son, Clint of Nevada; his daughter Samantha Appelgate of Nevada; and his sisters, Patty and Mary.
