William Thomas "Tom" Webster, 70 of Nevada, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames.

Tom was born December 8, 1953, in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Edwin Arthur and Donna Jolene (Cummings) Webster. He graduated from North Olmsted High School in Ohio and earned a bachelor's degree from Indiana University. Tom was a master electrician and was working for Iowa State University managing contractors.

Tom enjoyed fishing and was working on writing a book. He will be remembered for his positive outlook on life.

Tom is survived by his partner, Sandra Erwine of Nevada; and his sons Skyler Webster, Rex Webster, Elliott Webster; and his brothers Edwin "Mark" Webster of Spencer, OH and Donald "Brad" Webster of Story City. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 15, 2024, at Rasmusson-Ryan Funeral Home (1418 Fawcett Pkwy) in Nevada. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will follow at the Colo Cemetery in Colo.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Israel Family Hospice House in memory of Tom.
